Ahmed Musa has expressed strong support for the Super Eagles in their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.

Despite not being invited to participate in the qualifiers, the former Leicester City forward is confident in the team's ability to secure all six points.

Musa, who is Nigeria's most capped player, was included in Jose Peseiro's 25-man squad for the African Cup of Nations earlier this year.

As the team prepares for the crucial matches, the 31-year-old emphasized the significance of the two matches and encouraged Finidi George's squad to aim for victory in both games.

“Everyone knows the importance of both games, the players understand what’s at stake and I will want them to go all out and win both games. I am upbeat they will do this,” Musa told Score Nigeria.

The Super Eagles will face Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Friday, June 7, before traveling to Benin Republic three days later.
