The Super Eagles camp in Uyo has been affected by the ongoing Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) strike, delaying the arrival of several players.

According to the Super Eagles media officer, Promise Efoghe, eight players including Ademola Lookman, Maduka Okoye, Semi Ajayi, and Alex Iwobi, are stuck at the airport due to the strike which has delayed their flight to Uyo.

The players are expected to join their teammates in camp today (Monday).

Currently, 15 players are in camp, preparing for the upcoming matches against South Africa and Benin Republic.

The current squad in camp held another training session in the morning.

The Super Eagles will face Bafana Bafana on June 7 at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo before travelling away to Benin Republic on June 10th.
