Victor Osimhen's move away from Napoli could take an interesting twist with Antonio Conte set to become the next manager of the former Serie A champions.

The 25-year-old Super Eagles striker has been courted by top European clubs following his impressive campaign in the 2022/2023 season, where he helped Napoli win their first Scudetto title in 33 years.

With 78 goals and 18 assists in 132 appearances, Osimhen has become a hot commodity, with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United rumored to be interested in his services.

Other reports have linked the former Lille striker to Paris Saint-Germain as a possible replacement for French star Kylian Mbappe, who is set to join Real Madrid next season.

Napoli is demanding a hefty €130 million release clause; a sum the player's top suitors deem enormous.

According to reports, Antonio Conte is keen on bringing Romelu Lukaku to replace Osimhen when he takes over the reins of the Naples-based club next season.

The Belgium international, who scored 21 times in 47 games for Roma last season, has no intention of returning to Chelsea this summer and could be available for a fee around £37 million.

Conte and Lukaku worked together at Inter Milan, winning the Serie A title in the 2020/2021 season.

Lukaku scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter Milan under the former Tottenham Hotspur manager, as per PUNCH.

Chelsea could explore a more creative means of activating a potential player-plus-cash exchange with Lukaku to meet Napoli's demands for the Super Eagles striker.

It is, however, unclear if incoming Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca fancies Osimhen to lead the Blues attack next season.
