Victor Boniface has opened up on rumours linking him with a move away from German Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.

The Super Eagles striker has had a remarkable debut season with Xabi Alonso's side, helping them to their first ever Bundesliga title since the inception of the club in 1904.

The 23-year-old has netted 18 goals and provided 10 assists in 30 appearances across all appearances with the Bay Arena outfit.

Boniface is the club's top scorer this season despite spending two months on the sidelines due to injury.

Die Werkself remains the only unbeaten club in the European top five leagues and are on course for a historic treble.

Boniface's remarkable debut season with Leverkusen has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.

Speaking on his future amid the speculation, the form Union SG striker noted that his focus is on helping Leverkusen to clinch more titles.

“My current focus is solely on Leverkusen, striving to aid the team in achieving further milestones. It will undoubtedly stand as one of my proudest moments ever,” Boniface told to AFP.
