Osimhen makes Serie A Team of the Week

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been named in the Serie A Team of the Week.

The 25-year-old was on target as Napoli were held to a 2-2 draw against AS Roma at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday, April 28.

The Super Eagles striker scored from the spot in the 84th minute to give his side a 2-1 lead after Mathias Olivera had cancelled Paulo Dybala's goal.

Napoli looked set for victory until Tammy Abraham scored three minutes later.

The reigning African Player of the Year was named Man of the Match.

The ex-Lille attacker has now netted 14 goals and provided 3 assists in Serie A for the dethroned Italian champions this season.
