Nwabali’s Chippa United release 16 players ahead of new season

Chippa United has dismissed some players ahead of the 2024/25 season.

This was disclosed by iDiski Times in a post on X.

The released players don't include the Super Eagles number-one shot-stopper, Stanley Nwabali.

Nwabali is been linked with a move abroad including top South African clubs among which include Kaiser Chiefs.

The players are Luvuyo Memela, Roscoe Pitersen, Lloydt Kazapua, Azola Ntsabo, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Senzo Nkwanyana, Siphelele Luthuli, Darren Johnson, Menzi Ndwandwe and Andile Fakude.

Others are Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Diego Appolis, Khanyisile Mayo, Siseko Manona, Yuriq Conwood and Andile Mbenyane.

The duo of Goodman Mosele and Malebogo Modise return to Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, respectively.

The Super Eagles first choice has attracted interest from top South African clubs among which include Kaiser Chiefs.
