Despite signing a contract extension last December, Victor Osimhen's future at Napoli is still uncertain.

The 25-year-old Super Eagles striker has attracted interest from top European clubs following his impressive performance in the 2022/2023 season, which saw Napoli win their first Scudetto title in 33 years.

Osimhen's impressive stats of 78 goals and 18 assists in 132 appearances have made him a highly sought-after player.

Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United are rumored to be interested in his services, with Paris Saint-Germain also considering him as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to join Real Madrid next season.

While Arsenal was reported to be leading the race for Osimhen's signature, with officials sent to Italy to negotiate a potential transfer, no concrete offer has been made yet.

Napoli is demanding a hefty €120 million transfer fee, and Arsenal is considering a creative solution by adding Gabriel Jesus to the deal.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli is now open to negotiating a swap deal with Arsenal, with Takehiro Tomiyasu or Emile Smith Rowe potentially included in the transfer.

Both players were reportedly on Napoli's radar during the January transfer window.
