Coach Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at critics following Romelu Lukaku's fine form in front of goal.
Lukaku joined Roma in the summer in a loan agreement.
This makes it the third time he will link with Mourinho after working with him at Chelsea and Manchester United
The Belgian striker has scored four times in six appearances for Roma in a testing start to the season that has delivered eight points from seven games.
However, Mourinho believes those exploits prove he still knows what he is doing.
Mourinho told DAZN after Lukaku netted in a 2-0 victory over Frosinone: “I thought that I could be held responsible for Lukaku not scoring!
“At the very least, nobody can accuse me of that, because Romelu keeps scoring. He scores here, he scores at Manchester United, at Inter. Romelu scores everywhere. Fortunately, I am not a coach who can remove Romelu’s qualities.”
