Europa League: Lookman wins Goal of the Season award

Ademola Lookman has won the UEFA Europa League Goal of the Season award.

Lookman beat his international teammate, Victor Boniface, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Olympic Marseille and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao to the award.

The winger’s second goal in the 3-0 final final victory against Bayer Leverkusen was picked as the best for the season.

After receiving a pass from a teammate, Lookman nutmegged Granit Xhaka before curling the ball into the far left corner.

His international teammate, Boniface finished in eighth position on the list.

Lookman won the Man of the Match award for his impressive performance in the final.

The 26-year-old was also named Player of the Week.
