Former Juventus and Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has slammed Alejandro Garnacho for mimicking Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration.
The young Argentine scored a sensational overhead kick against Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday to help the Red Devils to a 3-0 victory.
The winger then pulled off Ronaldo’s famous ‘Siuuu’ celebration.
Vidal, while speaking on Twitch, has advised Garnacho to carve a niche for himself and not replicate Ronaldo's celebration.
The former Chilean international said:
“The only bad thing or what I didn’t understand, is why he celebrates like Cristiano.” He has to make his own name. He is already a great player. It’s good that he is his idol; respect for that, but then he has to make his name.”
“How are you going to celebrate a goal and remember it? I don’t know; celebrate it another way. But it was a great goal; it was a great goal.”
