'They came to rescue him not to arrest him' - Reactions as DSS nab alleged vote-buyer in PU

A section of social media has reacted to the arrest of an alleged vote buyer by officials of the Department of State Services (DSS).

The alleged vote buyer was captured in a video that has gone viral with cash suspected for the inducement of voters in the election.

The suspect was arrested at Ward 4, Polling Unit 007 outside St. Stephen’s Primary School, Akure, Ondo State around 9 am on election day.

Recall that the police disclosed it was set to deploy drones for the surveillance of the election.

A total number of 43,157 security personnel have been deployed for the election.
