A man who allegedly stole a goat in Nyanya community in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River state, was subjected to jungle justice by locals.

It was gathered that the suspect was caught by members of the Nyanya Youths Forums (NYF) and t!ed to a wooden pole.

Nigerian journalist, Solomon Ogar, said members of the public should have handed the alleged goat thief to the police instead of taking laws into their hands.

Jungle justice has become rampant in Nigeria recently due to the alleged culpability of the Nigerian Police.
