A woman and her two children have been arrested after she allegedly broke her landlord's head with a pestle in Umugbabe Ovoko community in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State.

This incident was reported by Enugu media personality Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, who shared the news in a Facebook post on Friday, January 31, 2025.

According to the report, it stated that the woman attacked the young man, who is an orphan, after he asked her to pack vacate the premises.

The landlord sustained severe injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

“His tenant scattered his head with a pestle because he asked her to pack out of the house at Umugbabe ovoko Igbo-Eze South LGA Enugu State. The woman and her two kids are currently enjoying the weather at Ibagwa, aka police station. This boy is an orphan and he only allowed the woman to leave with him because he was the only one in the big house,” (sic) he wrote.
