Reports indicate that several houses and businesses have been destroyed following a kerosene explosion that occurred in Elekahia.

It was gathered that the incident happened at the highly populated area in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Friday morning, December 30.

The fire outbreak was said to have started at about 8am. The fire service were alerted and they made their way to the scene to help quench the fire.
