Popular on-air personality Rufai Oseni has responded to the endorsement of Seyi Tinubu as the next governor of Lagos State.

The Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL), the umbrella body of all youth groups across the six geopolitical zones, issued a statement endorsing the First Son, which has caused shockwaves across the state.

The statement was jointly issued in Owerri on Tuesday, November 19 by the President General of CONYL, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, the Secretary Comrade Junard Abubakar, the Public Relations Officer Comrade Iniobong Sampson, and the Publicity Secretary Comrade Adeyemo Adewale.

According to the group, Seyi Tinubu, as the son of President Bola Tinubu, will continue the achievements of his father during his presidency.

The announcement has sparked reactions from political observers and communicators. Oseni, on the "What's Trending" segment of the Morning Show on Wednesday, November 20, affirmed Seyi Tinubu as the Governor, emphasizing that the mention of his name is not a coincidence, and residents should be prepared for it.

He said in excerpts of his video: "Seyi Tinubu, your Excellency, sir, welcome to the governorship of Lagos. You too, you will be it. All this one we are talking about, It doesn't matter. In the election period, they will come now. Before you know it, you are the governor."

"So Governor Seyi Tinubu of Lagos, that's just it. You see, we can deceive ourselves so much. You see, I can talk very comically and all laughter, but I cry for Nigeria because that's what Nigeria has become."

"Is it only Tinubu that is doing it? What are other politicians that have put their children there? Why are you talking about one in those states that put his child as a commissioner? So if they say it's time for Seyi Tinnabu, is it us here? We will just talk. But it's as if there's a fair company already. For them to mute this idea, for them to even put it in the public space, it looks like it's going to happen."
