Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has revealed why President Bola Tinubu picked Kashim Shettima as his Vice President.

In a statement on Monday, September 2 to mark his 58th birthday, Abiodun noted that Shettima's statesmanship, resourcefulness and “penchant for paradigm change” are the major characteristics that made him suitable for the role of Vice President.

He further described the Vice President as an embodiment of a true leader.

He said: “On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Ogun State, I heartily congratulate our cerebral Vice president, Senator Kashim Shettima, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
