As the crisis in the Ondo State House of Assembly continues, the Majority Leader of the Assembly, Mr Jamiu Maito has resigned.

Maito’s letter of resignation was read by the Clerk of the House, Mr Bode Adeyelu, during the plenary session on Wednesday.

This comes after the Deputy Speaker of the house, Iroju Ogundeji, and another member of the House, Adewale Williams, were both suspended on Wednesday, for unruly behaviour.
