Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar and erstwhile Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi have congratulated Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari on his new appointment as Chief of Staff.

Taking to Twitter, both members of the opposition party, PDP wished Gambari well in his new position.

Atiku hoped that the Professor would translate his skills to good use for the Nigerian populace.

"Congratulations Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, CFR on your appointment as Chief of Staff to Buhari. It is my hope and expectation and those of millions of Nigerians that you will deploy your varied skills garnered over the years in the service of our nation," he tweeted.

Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari was appointed Chief of Staff to President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) at the virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting which held Wednesday.
