Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has asked Cable TV like DSTV, GOTV to reduce their subscription fees for the average Nigerian.
Directing the Federal Government to intervene in the matter, he noted that Nigerians would be relieved to know that their subscription fees for Cable TV were slashed.
Taking to Twitter, Fayose wrote:
"Nigerians have been at home since the beginning of this Covid-19 pandemic, even now that the lockdown is relaxed, causing an increase in Data usage. Govt will be kind enough to prevail on Network and Cable TV Providers to reduce their tariffs to support Nigerians at this time."
