This is coming after Sahara Reporters declared the Leader Of Izala Society dead and buried.

The media aide who confessed to just speaking to Bala on the phone countered the report, insisting the Islamic scholar still leaves.

His words: "Just spoke with Sheikh Bala Lau on phone, he is alive, hale and hearty and so bitter about the wicked rumours of his death. What could possibly be Sahara Reporters’ source of the news that Sheikh Lau was dead today and social distancing protocol was violated at his funeral?"
