Candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, Uche Nwosu, has withdrew his appeal challenging the governorship election that held in Imo State on March 9.
Nwosu decided to withdraw his appeal due to a judgement the Supreme Court delivered against him on December 20, 2019.
He notified the court of his decision to withdraw the case through his lawyer, Solomon Umoh, SAN, when it was called up for hearing at the Supreme court.
“Based on the judgement of this Court dated 20th December, in SC/1384/19, we had resolved to withdraw our appeal, on my advice to my client,” Umoh submitted.
His case was then struck out of the court.
Nwosu is a son-in-law to former governor, Rochas Okorocha.
