Dele Momodu accuses APC of attempts to destroy opposition party

Dele Momodu, a member of the now-defunct Atiku-Okowa campaign organization has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of making several attempts to destroy the opposition party.

Momodu who was reacting to the string of challenges affecting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alleged that the APC would buy those who are for sale and terrorize those who are not buyable in a bid to put the opposition in disarray.

Appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Momodu blamed all issues facing the PDP on APC.

He accused President Bola Tinubu of stifling opposition even after thriving as an opposition leader before his party dislodged PDP as the ruling party.

“APC will do everything possible to destroy opposition; buy those who are buyable, to terrorise those who are not buyable and make sure that the party is in disarray, that is all.

“You see, part of my admiration for then Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos was the role he played as an opposition leader.

“Unfortunately, now we have a former opposition leader in government, and they don’t want opposition, it’s an irony,” he said.
