A former lawmaker Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District has made fun of the immediate former president Muhammadu Buhari after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu fired and replaced the service chiefs.
The service chiefs' early retirement was granted by President Tinubu on Monday, June 19.
According to Sani who did not specifically mention Buhari by name, stated that the former president can see how power may be used effectively to revitalize the spirit of the nation.
Taking to his Twitter page, Sani said that the former president presided over a dull period marked by a lack of vision and emptiness.
While Buhari blamed the previous administration of corruption, the former legislator said, the administration had installed the least transparent Federal Cabinet in Nigerian history.
He wrote: “Wherever he is, the former President is watching how power can be effectively used to reawaken and reinforce the spirit of a nation. A contrast to his boring era that was characterised by deficiency of vision, subservience to a parasitic cabal and notorious for its emptiness. He called all the previous Governments kwarapt while he cultivated, incubated and harboured the most larcenous and opaque Federal Cabinet in Nigeria’s history.”
