Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, Nigeria, is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He joined the RCCG in 1973 and was ordained as a pastor in 19751.

Under his leadership, the church has grown significantly, with branches in about 198 nations and over 14 million worshipers in Nigeria alone.

Pastor Adeboye is known for his teachings on the prosperity gospel and has written several books, including "Open Heavens Daily Devotional" and "Lessons from the Sower".
