Adebayo Adelabu, born on September 28, 1970, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, is a former deputy governor of operations at the Central Bank of Nigeria and currently serves as the Federal Minister of Power.

He has a background in accounting and business, having started his career with PriceWaterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and later held various leadership roles in the financial sector.

Adelabu was appointed as the Minister of Power in August 2023 by President Bola Tinubu.
