Sharon Ooja Egwurube is a talented Nigerian actress who gained prominence for her role as "Shalewa" in the web series "Skinny Girl in Transit" by Ndani Television.

Sharon Ooja Egwurube hails from the Idoma tribe in Benue State. Born on April 6, 1991, in Kaduna State, she has three sisters. Her educational journey included primary schooling at Kings and Queens School in Jos. For secondary education, she attended two all-girls boarding schools: Regina Pacis Secondary School in Garki II, Abuja, and St. Louis Girls’ College in Jos.

Sharon's acting career began when she moved to Lagos in 2013. She shared in an interview with the Nigerian Tabloid, Punch, how it all started. During a photo session for a store, NdaniTV covered the behind-the-scenes activities, leading to her invitation for an interview. Although the television show didn't materialize, she soon played a small role in the television series "Gidi Up".

As a graduate in mass communication from Houdegbe North American University Benin, Sharon's talents extended beyond acting. In 2017, she co-hosted GT Bank's Fashion Week red carpet alongside Timini Egbuson.

In March 2024, Sharon announced her private civil wedding to her husband, affectionately called "Odogwu silencer."
