Ngozi Ezeonu hails from Ogbunike in Anambra State, Nigeria. She was born on May 23, 1965, in Owerri, Imo State to Dennis and Ezenwanyi Ikpelue and has six siblings. Before taking up a career in acting, she studied Journalism at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and worked for Radio Lagos and Eko Fm.
