Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has opened up regarding Nigeria’s allocation of the Madagascar COVID-19 Syrup.

According to Mustapha, who responded to questions at the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, he said Madagascar singled several African countries as beneficiaries of their cure.

Hence the decision by the country to accept it.

However, he stressed that the cure will be subjected to quality assurance checks

We are to make arrangements to bring it in from Guinea Bissau with clear instructions to subject it to a validation process before putting it in into use," the SGF revealed.

Mustapha also raised the issued of bed spaces before closing his remark as he urged states to ramp up their capacity before it was too late.
