Nigeria's Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, Minister of Health, Adeleke Mamora, and Minister of Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed, as well as other ministers, have paid a visit to the Abuja International airport to check Nigeria's level of preparedness in ensuring Coronavirus (COVID-19) virus does not spread into the country.
This was disclosed in a tweet shared by the Official Twitter account handles of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, @FAAN_Official and Ministry of Information and Culture, @FMICNigeria.

During the visit, Honorable Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora briefed members of the press on the thermal scanners set up as part of the mandatory screening process for all incoming passengers.

The measures were put in place to provide safe and secure services for passengers while preventing them from spreading the virus or any kind of disease into the country.
