Adjudged to originate from animal hosts, coronavirus is not entirely new. In layman language, coronavirus is a virus that affects the respiratory system and is spread by flu-like symptoms, for example, cough.
It is known to be really potent against individuals that are old and have weak immune system. While the virus can barely survive two hours outside a human host, it could spend 7 weeks in the body of the hosts.
The original hosts for the disease are bats however snakes have been named in the mix as well.
Construction began on the night of January 23 for a new specialized hospital for #coronavirus patients in central China's #Wuhan City.

The hospital is designed to have an area of 25,000 square meters with 1,000 beds and will be put into use by February 3 pic.twitter.com/ePQoxJnM0y
However China is not immune to this virus. It spread like wildfire in 2002 as the authorities battled with sweeping the story of the thousands that died under the rug.
The pneumonia like virus has no cure due to the fact that it is seemingly new. It is cousins to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS)

#coronavirus Hospitals in Wuhan, full. Currently designing a building a new one in 6 days. I live in Wuhan and everything is in an apocalyptic situation. Markets empty. I have food for 5 days. And no one can go out or inside the city. Lovely. pic.twitter.com/YafR92c0jK
