Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire has revealed that Nigeria tests 600 samples per day.

He made this statement during the briefing on the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19.

"We are testing 600 samples per day. This can be improved upon to increase operational intensity. Improved logistic management and improved sample collection have improved turnaround time in Lagos. Robust structures will be put in place to conduct more tests," the Minister said.

Osagie said the goal was to test every positive case and admit them when needed. He stated that more work was still being done in the process

He also applauded health workers and urged them to take necessary precautions.
