The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has launched its Whatsapp number to enhance its capacity in keeping Nigerians informed on #COVID19.

It made this announcement in a tweet on the microblogging platform.

The NCDC, however, stated that its WhatsApp number ‘07087110839’ will be unreachable until 23 March 2020.

Nonetheless, it gave its toll-free line as 080097000010 and SMS line as 08099555577. It urged Nigerians to send it emails at info@ncdc.gov.ng and direct messages via its Twitter inbox.
