The Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Chikwe Ihekweazu was full of gratitude to everyone who heeded his call.
Yesterday, the health agency made an urgent request for RNA extraction kits.
Taking to Twitter, Ihekweazu tasked the country to help him find some very vital reagents.
Today, the NCDC boss expressed hearty thanks.
"Very grateful to everyone who reached out to solve this challenge with us. Our support to each other, even when done quietly, will enable us pull through.
"One day, we will tell the story of this response in full. For now, we #keeppushing," he tweeted.
