Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised to increase the salaries of healthcare workers in Lagos.

He made this statement while giving an address on COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

According to the Governor, he revealed that testing has been ramped up in Lagos. However, he promised to persecute those patients known to withdraw details about their travel histories.

Asking the people to desist from the stigmatization of people who contracted COVID-19, he promised to make face masks compulsory in Lagos state.

Commending the health workers for a good job well done, he promised an upward review of their salaries.
