Five new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, according to the Federal Ministry of Health.
This latest announcement brings the total number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria to eight.
All the five newly reported cases have a travel history to the UK/USA.
Citizens were urged to remain calm as possible as the Ministry of Health promised to trace the contacts; conduct risk assessments, and bring the situation under control.

The Ministry through the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control promised to keep bringing updates regarding the matter as it asked the public to refrain fro spreading false information.
