The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has discredited reports saying that coronvairus had been confirmed in the Apo-Dutse district in Abuja.
Taking to Twitter to clarify the story, the NCDC said the reports were false.
The NCDC revealed that some individuals have manipulated their graphics to spread panic news to the general public, for the past two weeks.
It informed the general public to disregard unconfirmed news sources and follow their authenticated contacts for updates regarding the virus. It also promised to update its records accordingly.
