Novel coronavirus has alleged spread to Nigeria's biggest commercial hub, Lagos State.

According to Nigeria Info, a suspected case of a patient with the Coronavirus has been quarantined at a hospital in Lekki, Lagos.

Medical Director, Mainland Hospital, Yaba, Abimbola Bowale, said the Lagos State Ministry of Health was currently investigating the rumours, MyNigeria gathered.

“The ministry has also heard that rumour and is currently investigating.

“There is a rumour and the ministry is investigating and nothing has been confirmed. The Commissioner of Health will issue a statement very soon,” he added.
