The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria has now risen from 51 to 65.
This is the highest surge of coronavirus cases recorded in a single day by the West African nation.
Out of the 14, 12 new cases were confirmed in Lagos, with two in Abuja.
"Of the 14, 6 were detected on a vessel, 3 are returning travellers into Nigeria & 1 is a close contact of a confirmed case," a statement from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control read.
