The ongoing Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, has sparked massive reactions and attracted praise from individuals around the world.
The festival, held annually after Eid-al-Adha, took a different turn this year as several groups and individuals showed up in stylish ensembles.
The Ojude Oba festival is a time when residents pay tribute to the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona.
Various activities are carried out during this event including a stunning display of colourful attire by different age groups, known as ‘regberegbe’, horse-riding competitions, and a variety of rich cultural performances.
