Annie Idibia, a popular actress and the estranged wife of singer Innocent Idibia, professionally known as 2Baba, has caused a stir on social media following her return on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

On her Instagram page which has over 7 million followers, Annie, who has been silent on her separation from 2Baba, deleted all posts.

Hours later, she shared a post expressing her gratitude to her family, friends, and fans for supporting her and showing her love.

At the end of her post, she signed off with her maiden name, Annie Uwana Macaulay. Meanwhile, her name on the platform remains Annie Idibia.

She wrote, “To my family, to my friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family HERE and all over the world. God bless you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you, and I do not take any of it for granted, may the universe continue to be in your favor. God Bless You All. Lots of LOVE. Annie Uwana Macaulay.”

This comes following her separation from 2Baba after 13 years of marriage. Recall that in January, 2Baba announced his separation from Annie and hinted at divorce.

During that period, 2Baba also announced his marriage plans with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
