Popular activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman (VDM), has warned that he will expose the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) if he becomes a target, as rumored on social media.

In a post on his Instagram page, VDM stated that he is willing to honor any invitation from the anti-graft agency but cautioned that he is prepared to "expose" their alleged misconduct.

His comments come after he accused the EFCC of extorting money from DJ Tunez, Terry Apala, and DJ Osas. He alleged that the agency has devised a new scheme to extort young Nigerians and celebrities.

VDM claimed that EFCC officials took the affected individuals to various locations and threatened to treat them similarly to Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

In a video, he said: "When are you people going to invite me? I will come with my lawyers. When you are ready to invite VDM, let me expose you. I am the only one who can expose you because I am not corrupt. Do your investigations—I have never collected money from anyone under false pretenses, I don’t commit fraud, I don’t steal, and I have no such record."

"Nobody else can stand up like this and call you out. It’s only me, and I will always speak against you."
