Mikel Obi is the greatest Nigerian footballer of all time – Odumodublvck

Rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has declared Mikel Obi the greatest Nigerian footballer of all time.

Following his statement, the ‘Cast’ crooner ignited a debate with his thoughts on Nigerian football.

Taking to his social media page, Odumodublvck wrote, “Mikel Obi is the greatest Nigerian footballer of all time”.

He another post he wrote, " The night Mikel tucked in at center back against Barcelona after Terrys red card at the camp nou stamped his place as the greatest ever to kick a ball from Nigeria he then went on to have a masterclass against Bayern at the Allianz Arena in the final. Football no be by name na by wetin you actually play. John Mikel Obi."

While some social media users agreed with his stance, others disagreed and mentioned names like Rashidi Yekini, Kanu Nwankwo, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, and others as their greatest Nigerian footballers of all time.

According to reports, throughout Mikel Obi’s career, he has won multiple titles, including two Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and one Champions League with Chelsea.

On the international stage, he won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics.

Mikel Obi was the runner-up for African Footballer of the Year in 2013.
