The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the popular TikTok star Murja Ibrahim Kunya for allegedly abusing the Naira in Kano State.

A source within the anti-graft agency informed Kano-based Freedom Radio of Kunya’s arrest over the weekend.

The source was quoted as saying, “The investigation is ongoing, and once completed, she will be charged in court for prosecution”.

Murja Kunya, who goes by the name Yagayagamen on Tik Tok has attracted attention with her content, which often sparks controversy in Kano.

Kunya’s arrest follows the arrest of other TikTok influencers, including Al’amin G-Fresh and Ashir Idris, on similar charges.
