Social media activist VeryDarkMan has issued a warning to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) based in Abuja, informing them that he is aware of their meeting with an influencer and prominent lawyer discussing him.

In a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, VeryDarkMan stated that the EFCC was allegedly planning to frame him and have him arrested.

The activist mentioned that he received this information from an informant stationed at the EFCC office. He claimed that he has never been involved in any fraudulent activity and is not afraid of the anti-graft agency.

VeryDarkMan pointed out that he will continue to speak out against the selective justice of the EFCC and the incompetence of the EFCC boss.

He said, “EFCC Abuja, I hear you had two visitors today, one an influencer and the other a very influential lawyer. I know you may be wondering how I found out. The truth is, I have an informant in your office, as well as in many other offices in this country. I am the reason why they came.

They talked about me, they brought one or two clips, they brought one picture where I was spraying money. They said this is the time and the opportunity to go for VeryDarkMan and the officer they spoke to also said that VeryDarkMan has been coming for us. He speaks about our oga, he talks about EFCC rudely, so your interests align and you are teaming up against VeryDarkMan. I heard you are planning to frame VeryDarkMan.

I want you people to know this, I am not scared of you at all, bring it on. I don’t do fraud. I’ve never done fraud in my life so why should I be scared of you people. Or why should I be scared to talk about the ills of the institution and the bosses of the EFCC. I also know a lot of things. I know you people have been going through my account. I know you people have been checking the NGO account daily. I know you people get report. I know everything.

You know I don’t keep quiet because I am very clean. I don’t have any interest in fraud. So, it is only me who will talk and will continue to talk till tomorrow. Like I said, the boss has been incompetent for the longest time. The EFCC as an institution needs to reform itself because of the selective justice that they do.

To the officers you spoke to today, I will advise you, do not stain your white because I will stain it for you. Just continue observing the account. You people have noticed, we have removed N10 million from the NGO account. They are doing a borehole in Jos. A full standard borehole with solar and everything. I will still send more money.

I’m clean, you can’t touch me. I was born here, I own this city. Abuja is my city. We can’t compromise, we have integrity. The boys are loyal. The love has been there even before money began to come. We don’t show fake love. Abuja boys are gallant. I own this city.”
