Actor Yul Edochie has received criticism from fans after claiming that everybody loves him. He made this known in a post shared on his Instagram page.

The post read, “I have noticed something. Everybody loves Yul Edochie.”

His post attracted several reactions from Nigerians who took to his comment section to share their thoughts.

A fan stated that although he used to be a staunch supporter of the actor, until he messed up. Instead of fixing his problem, he made a public display against a woman he had been with through everything.

According to the fan who calls himself proud_coven_member, every fan of May Edochie, his estranged wife, was once his fan.

He wrote, “Yes everybody loves Yul! I hv always loved you from age 19 when i gained admission into ESUT! i lived with my grandparent at Ogui road at the time and my grandpa happened to be the first tenant with a VCD player then. I would get money from him to go rent nollywood vcd's which were mainly movies you featured in? & guess what, evey1 in our yard, gathers in my grandpa living room to watch the movie & it was fun at the time.

I’m over the age of 35 now living in America, married, own a family & was still your fan until you m£$$ed up! & instead of fixing it, you made a public show of a woman who has been with you through thick & thin!!!!
