On-air personality, Chinedu Ani, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, has revealed his role on the Honest Bunch podcast.
The embattled media personality, speaking at a press conference on Thursday, February 20, explained that his role on the popular podcast was that of a devil’s advocate.
“My role on the podcast is to make guests feel comfortable while encouraging thought-provoking discussions.
“My job was to ask questions that would spark controversies and debates, which I successfully accomplished.”
Addressing the controversy surrounding his exit from the show, he clarified that he was not fired but chose to step down due to mounting pressure and controversies.
Nedu emphasized that everyone has the right to express their opinions and react to issues.
However, he stressed that it ultimately boils down to what the public chooses to believe.
“Rather than engaging in petty fights, I have decided to clear the air by stepping away from the show,” he said.
