Nigerian rapper Vector Tha Viper has taken a swipe at Atalanta manager Gasperini for his harsh remarks about winger Ademola Lookman’s missed penalty kick in their 3-1 defeat against Club Brugge in the Champions League.

Lookman scored one goal for Atalanta after they were three goals down, but his penalty was saved by Simon Mignolet.

Expressing his disappointment after the game, Gasperini described Lookman as “the worst penalty taker he has ever seen” and accused him of insisting on taking the penalty despite not being the designated penalty taker.

Vector called Gasperini a racist and referenced Victor Osimhen’s similar experience at Napoli.

Taking to his X page, Vector wrote, “I thought I was a victor till Napoli started laughing.’ Make Lookman look well… This skin issue sha.”

In response, Lookman clarified that the designated penalty taker asked him to take the spot-kick, contradicting Gasperini’s claim.
