Nollywood actors Saidi Balogun and Uche Ogbodo have taken to social media to show their support for their colleague, Halima Abubakar.
This comes after Halima Abubakar shared a video of herself weeping and lamenting her predicament. Captioning the video, she wrote that God knows best and stated that her tears and pains would not be in vain.
The actress mentioned that she believes in the power of prayers and that the tables will eventually turn.
According to Halima, she has not done any movies in six years and has been struggling to support herself. She lamented that her best friend claims she is lying about her health, whereas she has never visited her since her illness.
The movie star revealed that she is frustrated from begging people for money to pay her medical expenses and medication, as she shared her account details to appeal for assistance from Nigerians.
Actor Saidi Balogun trooped to her comment section to shower prayers of healing on her, assuring her that she would overcome her challenges.
“You will surely overcome. Almighty Allah will heal you completely," he wrote.
Uche Ogbodo also assured Halima that God has her back. She wrote, “God gay you, Hali.”
