Singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has appealed to the Ogun State government for mercy for his actions after being declared wanted by the police.
Officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development visited Portables bar to conduct official work, but he arrived with tools and drove them away, leaving some injured.
As a result, the police sent him an invitation to appear at the station, which he ignored. This prompted the police to storm his bar, seal off the building and arrest his aides who were present.
Despite multiple invitations from the Ogun State police to report to the headquarters, Portable failed to comply, leading to the police declaring him wanted for resisting arrest.
In response to the police declaration, Portable took to his Instagram page to express remorse, saying, “All this everything that is happening to me is a spiritual attack. God save my life. I’m facing a lot, sicknesses all over my body. I’m taking care of myself. Pain in my body. Ogun State Government, forgive me.
