Mrs Rose Idibia, the mother of singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, has begged Honorable Natasha Osaruwa of the Edo State House of Assembly to release her son.

MyNigeria reported that 2baba proposed to Natasha yesterday and also gave her a ring.

The gesture was in addition to reports of them expecting their first child together.

The events took place amid 2baba and his estranged actress wife Annie Macaulay going through a divorce process.

However, 2baba's mother, in a video, has accused Natasha of using fetish means to trap her son, saying he's not himself.

According to her, Natasha has beads on 2baba's neck and hand, urging her to remove them to free her son.

She said, "Good morning Nigerians, I'm Rose Idibia. This message is for Miss Natasha Osaruwa. I'm calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to release or to free my son. My son is going through a divorce process, and he's clearly not in his right senses. Now, I know my son, this is not him, please. The beads you put on his hand and on his neck, remove them and free him."
